Say hello to Michael J. Runkle, the bright new star in webSMART’s constellation of web-savvy gurus and small business champions. We’re thrilled to have him onboard Starship webSMART.
As our new Business Development Manager, Runkle brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and energy to our crew. Born in Durham, North Carolina, he worked as a trial attorney in California for a decade in the legal trenches. Though he’s no longer practicing law, his expertise continues to serve him well. As a former legal practice owner, Runkle also knows the ins-and-outs of running a successful business. When he’s not translating legalese, he’s a motorcycle master who’s ridden across an entire continent, a wrestling champion and Muay Thai enthusiast, and his spirit animal is most definitely a bear. A bear that loves motorcycles.
Spirit animal aside, this business ninja has over a decade of legal experience under his blackbelt, and he’ll be the first to tell any attorney how important it is to build your brand online in order to find new clients and grow your practice. The internet isn’t just for streaming videos as you wind down from your work—it’s an excellent place to advertise your practice, generate leads for potential clients, and sniff out the competition in your areas of expertise.
